Internet Today by Sara Takaki and Sonia Boller

Dependent:
In this day and age, many of us rely on technology to accomplish almost anything. We rely very heavily on the Internet and without it many of us would be lost.
Advanced:
The Internet today is very advanced, and is capable of doing many things, ranging from allowing us to video chat to reading books online.
Socially Incompetent:
The Internet can make us socially incompetent because people begin to rely on texting and emailing to sustain relationships instead of physically getting together. This make us socially incompetent because when we are thrown into situations where we can't text or email we lack the experience to socially acceptable.
Connected:
The Internet is often referred to as "the worldwide web" and this is a very accurate statement. The Internet helps us stay connected with people all around the world with the click of a mouse.
Addicted:
The Internet can also be viewed as very addictive. Many people get sucked into the Facebook/Twitter/Myspace vortex and begin devoting vast amounts of their lives to perfecting their profiles on these websites.
